I’m in Illinois. It looks like we don’t have this service. I know we have United Way here.
It looks like they are trying to get more of it in Illinois. https://www.illinois211.org/home-2/
Hi Elizabeth - we are working hard to help IL expand coverage. We’ve had some great convos with the city of Chicago and making progress with them.
Deborah, sometimes a local nonprofit operates their 211. Visit 211.org to find out who operates it in your community. If you are still having a hard time reaching them. Feel free to e-mail me: Joshua.email@example.com
Thanks Joshua, that’s good to know. I work in DuPage County. We have CRIS but a 211 system would be a lot easier to help people know where to call for help.
Should we be responding to all attendees and not just the person who asks the question and the panelists? It may be helpful if everyone is able to see the answer to a question in the chat.
We are having a program in the fall titled Guardianship for your Young Adult Child.
That sounds really interesting!
