I want to thank the library in my parents’ small town of Beebe, AR. The librarians call my mother and tell her they have some new books she can pick up curbside that they have been holding for her!

My pitch for new members -- we are stronger together. Being a member of the ALA community allows me to see all of the great things that ALA is doing, gives me incentive to keep advocating, and even -- as a member -- to push ALA about the issues that are important to me. :-)

Thanks, too, to some of our vendors, who provided new or expanded content at no charge. This required some work by librarians, as some of the offerings were thinly veiled advertisements or information grabs, but some of the offerings were bonafide and made a huge benefit to our users.
