I am reminded of how the redwood trees survive storms although these giant trees have shallow roots. Their "strategy" is that their roots are intertwined with each other. Each tree strengthens the other.

These are the same conversations we have been having at NJASL

But inclusivity also involves strong discussions among all stakeholders to maximize buy-in to the agenda over time.

I think the ALA EDI Assembly will be of help as we all seek to diversify.

@Arlene, agreed. However the ecosystem should work to speak on issues that will require a unified voice at that State level.

Sometimes the inclusion is in the discussion that can lead to a unified consensus.
