I'm mid-career and struggling to pivot from libraries to archives.

went to a retirement seminar and realized I have 25 years left. What to do!?

Still happy with what I do...but will I like it for another 20 years?

Stagnation--time for a change!

I see limits, but that mid-career is a time to steer around or through those and that many things are possible.

I feel stuck and am looking to do something else. I want to move up into higher responsibilities, but am not sure how to make the jump.

Ah-ha moment. I have often changed my work environment and role through my career. These definitions of "midcareer" give me a new definition: once I become comfortable and settled into a role, this is similar to midcareer (for this job) and I need to find opportunities for growth, diversity of responsibilities, reactivation motivations. Just my "2-cents" idea.
