Dear all, we will have Q&A at the end of the session. Please send your questions via Chat. I will monitor the chat and compile all the questions. If we cannot cover all the questions, they will be sent to program presenters and we will post the answers in our Core Interest Group resource page later. Thank you!

17:17
Should we be seeing slide progression?

17:23
Are the slides supposed to be advancing?

17:27
I'm not seeing slide progression either.

17:31
I'm not seeing the slides advance.

17:47
We are not seeing your slides please

18:30
You might have to stop sharing and reshare the whole screen not a specific window

18:36
But the slide whould fill the screen

18:41
we aren't seeing presenting view

18:42
No, we don't see the presentation

18:43
We do not see presenter view.

18:48
Yes

18:55
I think you need to share the Slideshow instance and not the PowerPoint window

18:58
maybe try changing your screenshare option to select the window?

19:15
For those who joined the program late: We will have Q&A at the end of the session. Please send your questions via Chat. I will monitor the chat and compile all the questions. If we cannot cover all the questions, they will be sent to program presenters and we will post the answers in our Core Interest Group resource page later. Thank you!

19:15
If you have two monitors, you have to share the monitor that has the presentation.

19:24

Thank you, Emily!

26:01
yes

35:30
Xiaoli, what tool did you use to create the interactive workflow (linking to documentation) on your last slide?

36:06
Google slides + google site

36:22
thank you!

44:25
We do the same here with our Polaris catalog (also an Innovative product) and our EDS. Our ebooks are only in our EDS, the records are not duplicated in our Polaris catalog.

46:02
What are the implications for teaching people how to use the catalog?(s)

48:20
Do you use 655 4s or 655 0s for "Electronic books"? We use 655 0s but I've heard other people use 655 4s.

48:41
Kathy Peters, During any of your batch updates, or reloads, have you considered using any of those transactions to load URIs into the database (even if they are not currently being used in discovery) for anything?

49:44
Elizabeth - We have been using 655 7 $2 local for Electronic books. Is it now LCGFT official? I may have missed that.

51:42
It's officially a 650, which is why we use 655 0 instead of 655 7.

55:18
Douglas uses 655 _4 $aElectronic books.

56:09
Good to know thanks!

58:57
Re. Jesse Lambertson's question - we don't bother loading URIs if EDS doesn't use them, we'd only consider that if/when there was something useful to doing so. If they are already part of vendor records we don't remove them, they just go in and don't affect anything at the moment.

01:01:41
is it a scroll lock problem?

01:01:46
Kathy Peters' contact email: petersk@douglascollege.ca

01:01:46
Enter or space bar?

01:01:50

01:01:53
Bad keyboard?

01:09:51
Will we have access to the slides?

01:10:11
Yes. It’ll be posted to Connect. Thanks
