We are creating an Ozarks Heritage Resource Center inside our library building. We are in the beginning stages at this time.

You said the PAG grants can't be used for digitization, but can they be used for a consultation that may lead to digitization?

I volunteer with a small leftist community archive / library in Oakland, CA. We have worked with our book collection and would love to connect our archives person with someone to discuss how to best support our collections and to best apply for grants.

I am working with a library director at a small tribal institution that is taking on archives responsibilities including lots of housing issues. Any funding available for him?

This ranges from training to software needs to physical storage containers and environmental support and beyond

Did you get the collection cataloged or advise on how they might do this? I'm just wondering if these books were added to your ILS or was everything kept in the spreadsheet for the department's use only?

I’ve heard there is occasionally concern in sharing conservation techniques/materials that it can accidentally encourage amateur intervention that could damage materials. Is this something you’ve considered or dealt with?
