Hi Delin! This is the page I was talking about, that was in Connie's slide: https://www.ala.org/rt/irrt/irrtcommittees/isld/isld/isld-projects (The name is still not changed there.)

But I also noticed that on the page where ISLD members are listed that, with my name, that old name still exists too. Lubuto is not a "project," and the new name was a long-overdue rebranding to clarify that. Thanks very much.

What issues do you face in your library? Please share!

We at Poudre River Public Library District are starting to draft initial goals and timelines to implement a project using RACHEL (Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning) with our sister library San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. The idea is to deliver content at rural schools where internet connectivity is not very reliable.

We seek your questions and comments to better inform our webinar toolkit workshop scheduled for January 19, 2022. Plan to participate!

My question is different, can you please suggest some best practices for school libraries please

We are looking at best practices and advice as we start this project with our sister library. Having an inventory definitely helps in understanding the overall picture. For communication we normally use WhatsApp as it allows communication with the staff at the SJDS library without incurring into international carrier fees since it relies on a Internet connection (usually wifi). Any tips to facilitate the process for a mostly offline project?
