Connie, please change the name on the ISLD website from Lubuto Library Project to the name we established 5 or 6 years ago, Lubuto Library Partners. Thanks!

24:59
Hello Jane! Hope all is well. I want to make sure I make the correction on the right page. I made a correction to this page: https://www.ala.org/rt/irrt/irrtcommittees/isld/isld/about-isld

27:00
Hi Delin! This is the page I was talking about, that was in Connie's slide: https://www.ala.org/rt/irrt/irrtcommittees/isld/isld/isld-projects (The name is still not changed there.)

28:03
But I also noticed that on the page where ISLD members are listed that, with my name, that old name still exists too. Lubuto is not a "project," and the new name was a long-overdue rebranding to clarify that. Thanks very much.

28:17
Will do. Thanks.

We at Poudre River Public Library District are starting to draft initial goals and timelines to implement a project using RACHEL (Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning) with our sister library San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. The idea is to deliver content at rural schools where internet connectivity is not very reliable.

Great job, Carson!!

01:19:14
We seek your questions and comments to better inform our webinar toolkit workshop scheduled for January 19, 2022. Plan to participate!

01:21:34
My question is different, can you please suggest some best practices for school libraries please

01:21:48
We are looking at best practices and advice as we start this project with our sister library. Having an inventory definitely helps in understanding the overall picture. For communication we normally use WhatsApp as it allows communication with the staff at the SJDS library without incurring into international carrier fees since it relies on a Internet connection (usually wifi). Any tips to facilitate the process for a mostly offline project?

01:23:35
Thanks Dr Shadrach for that suggestions

01:23:53
Thank you Shaddy sir this will be of great help to school librarians in India

01:23:57
we from SLA India look forward for that

01:24:55
Does this project benefit libraries outside of USA? Our library is based in Uganda, East Africa

01:26:03
Thank you Shaddy for your support and suggestion. We would definitely explore the toolkit.

01:28:40
Thank you Faisal, Neena and Darsana for joining in. You may like to set up a meeting with Carson and Stephanie for taking this forward, and perhaps, adapting the toolkit for the school community in India
