Does the Fulbright apply to students attending an MLIS program as well?

01:43:40
You can email me at Debbie.chavez@librariesfortheworld.org if you're interested in partnering on a project

01:47:03
Consider NOT working with a Christian-only organization working on other countries to avoid spreading hegemony and exclusion. there are groups that are open to everyone.

01:48:54
will definitely look at some opportunities virtually, thank you for sharing tour experiences.

For school librarians, there's a Facebook group - International School Library Connection. If you're looking to work in school libraries overseas, it's a great networking group.

01:50:40
@Martha, you would be eligible to apply for a Fulbright after obtaining your MLIS. Applying for a Fulbright Scholar or Specialist generally requires at least 5 years of experience. There are Fulbright student scholar opportunities for recent grads though.

01:53:03
Thank you so much; I do have the five years experience, so that is something to look for! I appreciate your help.
