Hello, and welcome! I will be monitoring chat.

04:27
Is there anyone else I should promote to panelist so they can mute/unmute

07:04
All attendees are muted and no video. Use the participates list to hover over someone's name and you can allow them to unmute if they want.

07:25
Got it.

07:33
Attendees can use the participants list, hover over their name and raise their hand to indicate the want to talk.

07:44
They can also just use the chat box

13:40
It's the majority of those who vote, correct? Not a majority of those eligible to vote.

14:16
Keri: yes, exactly!

19:13
So basically you are asking members to approve a restructuring of ALA personnel?

32:46
The infographics is very interesting but before it's disseminated more broadly, should someone review and be sure that all current sections of all 3 divisions are represented somewhere. (For instance, I see no mention of acquisitions - and no-collections is not the same thing!). If the members are to see themselves in th enew division, their current "identities" should be included.

35:31
I notice that the budgeted revenue for Core is higher than the combined revenue for the three divisions. How was that number reached?

40:31
Those are logical groupings as far as members are concerned... this looks like a valuable grouping to me

40:44
yes!

40:47
Thank you!

41:39
You did answer my question

45:06
You can have your name added to a volunteer list if Core passes https://core.ala.org/get-involved/

48:25
Thanks!

49:00
Here is the link to the Financial Working Group report: https://connect.ala.org/HigherLogic/System/DownloadDocumentFile.ashx?DocumentFileKey=20dcb442-111c-18f3-a5d5-a3be9a4ac568&forceDialog=0

49:53
Happy to take a closer look. Where did you say the more detailed version is available?

50:11
Here is the more detailed budget:

50:29
And all the reports are here: https://core.ala.org/reports/

51:59
Yes, everyone who is a member of the three div on Aug 31 will be converted to Core on Sept 1

52:42
It will remain on calendar so we don't have everyone renewing Sept 1

53:46
Isn't there a danger that if your membership renews in January/February and you don't renew now, you wouldn't be able to vote for/against CORE?

53:46
Good question, TBD.

54:54
Everyone who is a member on January (I think 31)? can vote

55:14
you should have gotten an automated email

55:18
if you're eligible

56:01
Yes, all members as of 1/31 will get the ballot

56:03
When did the voting email go out?

56:06
there's a few months grace period for renewals before you go inactive

56:31
great! I'll be on the lookout

57:09
Donate it to the Office of Diversity!

58:39
no

59:59
Will there be a discussion at ALA Annual?

01:00:45
a formal one

01:00:48
LOL

01:01:18
might want to be clear that it's not official after a member vote. needs formal approval from council

01:01:32
at annual
