For Emily, you mentioned taking an approach that is similar to union organizing. How would you characterize the opposition that you believe libraries, library staff and librarians face, and what actions would you take?

This group (LRRT) is focused on building the knowledge and capacity for conducting research to solve problems and expand our understanding of how to meet the needs of our patrons. This is mostly attended by academic librarians and academicians. What are your thoughts regarding extending learning and applying research methods to public and school librarians or staff?
