2023 PLA Presidential Candidates Forum

One of the benefits of being a PLA member is using the power of your vote to guide the direction of the organization. Join us Tuesday, March 21 at 1:00 PM Central for a virtual forum to get to know the candidates standing for president in the upcoming PLA election—Jessica Dorr, Director, Boise (ID) Public Library; and Michael Lambert, City Librarian, San Francisco (CA) Public Library. PLA President Dr. Maria McCauley will be facilitating the discussion and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

PLA members in good standing as of Jan. 31 will be able to cast a digital ballot to vote. Ballots will be emailed beginning on March 13 and the voting deadline will be April 5.

This forum will be live captioned.
