As today's young readers navigate an increasingly complex world, climate literature—both fiction and nonfiction—emerges as a vital tool in fostering environmental awareness, empathy, and critical thinking skills. During this session, middle-grade authors will explore how engaging narratives can inspire middle grade students to envision potential futures, understand the science behind climate change, and cultivate a sense of agency.
