Celebrating Indigenous Stories and Storytellers
Native American Heritage Month is every November, but we should celebrate Indigenous stories and storytellers year-round. This panel discussion, hosted by Penguin Young Readers and Booklist, intends to do just that. With incredible indigenous authors who are intentionally uplifting nonfiction and fiction stories from their communities, this event is not to be missed.

Join Penguin Young Readers and Booklist on Wednesday, September 28th at 1PM CT/2PM ET for this free, hour-long discussion where Indigenous authors Traci Sorell, David Treuer, and Ria Thundercloud will discuss their new books. The panel will be moderated by Cindy Hohl (Santee Sioux Nation), director of branch operations at the Kansas City Public Library and past president of the American Indian Library Association.
