Educate, Empower, Engage: Building Empathy & Supporting Youth with Paw Prints Publishing (by Baker & Taylor)
Join Baker & Taylor’s CATS and their new publishing arm, Paw Prints Publishing, as they discuss future titles and how to build impact through storytelling and programming in this free, one-hour Booklist webinar on Thursday, September 29 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT.

Educate: Bobbie Bensur (CATS) will share the publishing mission of Paw Prints Publishing and highlight a few titles from their fall 2022 and spring 2023 list that all aim highlight social-emotional development, empathy-building, as well as diverse groups of people and life experiences.

Empower: Paw Prints Publishing author, Jesse Byrd, will discuss his nonprofit Each Story Matters and the writing workshop paradigm that supports it. Learn how your library can host your own Each Story Matters workshop and empower your young patrons through the act of writing and storytelling. Paw Prints Publishing will publish that workshop’s title for their portfolio!

Engage: Listen to author, Misty Lee Coolidge, as she talks about her upcoming picture book about volunteering at your local food pantry, and encourage your patrons to get involved.
