Description
Feeling haunted by the specter of summer reading? Never fear; Summer Scares is back with new titles to give you a proper fright—but its free programing guide and library-loving authors ensure nothing but sweet dreams for any who bring this horror-soaked reading program into their libraries. Summer Scares is designed for libraries by the Horror Writers Association, in partnership with Booklist, Book Riot, iREAD, and NoveList, to promote the horror genre across all age groups.
In the first of three webinars, Books for Youth senior editor Julia Smith will talk with the authors of the 2025 middle-grade selections: Graham Annable (EERIE TALES FROM THE SCHOOL OF SCREAMS), Derrick Chow (RAVENOUS THINGS), and Daka Hermon (HIDE AND SEEKER). This free, one-hour webinar will take place on Monday, March 10th at 1 pm CT / 2 pm ET. Register now!
