Caitlin Williams, Ph.D. is an author, speaker, professional development consultant and ALA member. She has spent the last thirty years working in the field of career development through writing, speaking, coaching, counseling, and teaching. Caitlin has had the honor of conducting career coaching for ALA attendees at its twice-yearly conferences since 2000. She has also presented and contributed numerous articles and podcasts. She has written two previous books (one title has been translated into Korean), and co-authored another book - all of them focused on career and workplace topics. Most recently, she authored Be Opportunity-Minded: Start Growing Your Career Now for ALA Editions, focused specifically on career opportunities for library professionals. Caitlin is retired from teaching at San Jose State University, and she’s looking forward to new adventures and opportunities!
